Vico Magistretti for O-Luce: Pair of "Adam" Wall Lamps, Chrome Steel, 1975

This pair features a chrome-plated steel stem attached to a circular, white-lacquered metal wall base, with an articulated black thermoplastic joint that allows the cylindrical reflector to pivot and adjust the direction of the light. The reflector itself is a half-cylinder shade made of white-lacquered metal, open along one edge to direct light downward or toward a reading surface. The Adam model occasionally appears as individual fixtures, but much less often as a matched pair with a consistent patina, which is the case here.
