Mid-Century and Art Deco style pendant lamp by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Italy, 1940s. This chandelier is composed of a brass structure with a long stem and a central sphere enamelled in dark blue tone with hand-painted details in gold. Three brass horns hang from the sphere, and contain their respective three lamp holders or sockets. All parts of the structure are made of brass and gilded chrome metal. A convex artistic glass diffuser/reflector with a light blue floral print completes this unique piece. Rockabilly, Mid-Century Modern, Palm Beach Regency, Sputnik, Atomic Era and Hollywood Regency style pendant light. Very much in the style of Stilnovo and Arredoluce's Italian designs, of Rupert Nikol's Austrian brass and teak creations from the 60s, and the Danish creations of Fog & Morup. For three E14 light bulbs.
