Mid-Century gilt Sunburst wrought iron flush mount by Ferro Art, Spain, 1950s

Mid-Century Modern and French Riviera style flush mount light by Ferro Art (also known as Ferroarte), Spain, 1950s. Handmade wrought iron structure using metalwork techniques such as hammered, welded and hand-crafted. The sun rays are welded as a crown to a central iron piece where the lamp holders are located. Finished in brushed gold leaf and varnished. It can be used as a wall light or sconce too, and as a pendant lamp or chandelier by adding a chain. Atomic Era, Hollywood Regency, Palm Beach Regency, Sputnik, Mid-Century Modern, Danish, Scandinavian, Nordic and Starburst style ceiling light. Very vintage light fixture, with a certaing Gothic Revival, Tudor and Brutalist air. Electrical installation renewed and fully operational, with its original lamp holders.
