Giuseppe Rivadossi for Officina Rivadossi Single Beds in Walnut and Oak

The pair is constructed using wooden panels secured to each other through wooden joints. This technical aspect of the structure makes it not only necessary for the stability, but also has a strong visual impact on the design itself and showcases the high-level of craftsmanship this bed has been made with. The wooden surface visualizes the artist’s hand and his movement to treat the wood with the use of intensive hand-planed and trimmed techniques. At a young age, Rivadossi's path begins with wood carving, with works reflecting on his poetic idea of living. Eventually, Rivadossi and collaborators established 'Officina Rivadossi' in 1976 where he started the manufacture of wooden objects and unique modern furniture.
