This wall mounted sliding door cabinet is a striking example of George Nakashima’s expert craftsmanship and distinctive design philosophy. Its strict, linear layout with sharp, architectural lines is beautifully contrasted by the organic, free flowing live edge of the top slab. The vertically grilled sliding doors backed with pandanus cloth open to a spacious interior fitted with a single shelf. Exposed dovetail joints highlight both the meticulous construction and the decorative character typical of Nakashima’s cabinetry and benches.
