Shelving Unit midel Nuage designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1952-1956. These units can be combined with others so they can serve myriad purposes in myriad settings, creating new combinations: from sideboards to cupboards, from book-shelves against a wall or wall-hung, to free-standing units that can serve as room dividers. Nuage is a storage cabinet, a double-sided or wall bookcase, wall-hung or free-standing for placement in the center of a room. A free form that lends movement to space and enhances the objects it holds, thanks to the compositional complexity of the assembled elements. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor, laptop, tablet and phone screen has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently.
