Ceramic Table Lamp by Roland Zobel — France, circa 1970, era Ruelland, Jouve

$1,243.97

A mid-century ceramic table lamp by French potter Roland Zobel, made at the Atelier des Cyclades around 1970. It features a classic round shape with a beautiful mottled blue glaze. This "boule" table lamp is a lovely example of French post-war studio pottery from Anduze (South of France). The ceramic base is finished with a rich, glossy enamel that shifts from deep navy to turquoise. The depth and color of the glaze are highly reminiscent of the iconic work of Jacques and Dani Ruelland from the same period.
