Adrian Pearsall 'Platform Gondola' Sofa in Walnut and Red Upholstery

A wonderful sofa that features the combination of two great sofa models by Adrian Pearsall; the Gondola sofa and the Platform sofa. The frame consists of a walnut top and black base, creating the illusion to float. The gondola shaped seat enhances the floating appearance which makes this an almost poetic design. Pearsall designed some of the most sensuous, gracious midcentury design pieces around, sharing many of the design aesthetics by Vladimir Kagan.
